Prospects camp
Zenon has had a big influence on many NHLers like Stamkos, Downie, Hedman, Purcell, Tavares, Moulson, Butler, Obrien , the rest of the young Ottawa Senators and now in Minnesota . A leader on and off the ice he has taken his gift to young Ottawa prospects. What started with the 94 age group turned out to be a huge success with seeing many of those boys now in the OHL and CJHL. Players like Zack Leslie (Guelph Storm) Nathan Pancel (Sudbury Wolves) Adam Loyd of the Kingston Frontenacs and Dalen Hedges(Jr. Sens/Nepean Raiders) are just a few that still have Zenons ear when advice is needed. Both Zack and Nathan will be on the ice to assist our pro group with the drills, they will also be available to the prospects to share some advice to any questions the new prospects may have.
We provide the best on ice and off ice training for young prospects hoping to make an impact on the hockey seen in the OHL or CJHL . In order for our Ottawa area prospects to compete with the Greater Toronto area we focus on teaching understanding systems and accountability. Zenon runs many NHL drills that challenges the player to think and react accordingly. Having played under many of the best coaches in the AHL and NHL Zenon uses what he has learned to teach this to our prospects. We will also improve the skating ability with the help of Zenon's skating coach who is one of the worlds most sought after efficient skating teachers. Paul Lawson works with several NHLers in the off season he also is the Montreal Canadiens prospect development skating coach, many Russian, Czeck and Swedish hockey players use him to make them better. He will push the skater out of his comfort zone with challenging drills he is not familiar with that will improve his skating stride.
